With VISION Learning Station, you will unlock the full power of the VISION
Learning and Performance Support System. The VISION Learning Station operates seamlessly with
VISION Developer to make assignments, deliver courses and exams, and to track your learners’
individual progress toward their training goals.
|
|
|
|
VISION Learning Station will also incorporate
immediate feedback from instructors, supervisors, and learners to continuously improve the quality
of your instructional materials.
Because the VISION Learning Station includes many features of a full-function Learning Management
System (LMS), it may be all you’ll ever need to deploy and manage your blended training programs.
Or, you may want the VISION Learning Station to serve as a “middle layer” to extend the reach of
your corporate LMS into your VISION Database. In either case, VISION Learning Station will add
significant leverage to your investment in the VISION learning foundation.

How VISION Learning Station Works
VISION Learning Station will become your “control panel” for all your organizational learning and
performance support. Each learner sees a personalized set of assignments, courses, exams,
qualifications, and reports designed specifically for him or her. And, from the broader perspective,
supervisors and learning administrators can view and manage a wide scope of organizational learning
results. |
|
 |
On-line courses and exams are assigned to learners in the VISION Learning Station.
When a learner signs on, he or she will see a personalized list of assignments. Assigned courses
may include a blend of online and offline materials. Exams are scored instantaneously and, if you
answer an item incorrectly, immediate lesson remediation is available through your Learning System
Foundation.
On-line surveys can be designed, deployed to a target audience, and processed electronically via the
VISION Learning Station. Typical surveys might help you collect data on the difficulty, importance
and frequency of work tasks; instructor evaluations; and course quality ratings.
Performance support for any selected work task is immediately available via the VISION Learning
Station. A worker on the job can easily select any job task from their Learning System Foundation
and immediately receive a customized set of lessons (including a pretest and post-test, if desired)
focused on just the work task at hand. Performance support materials can be viewed online, or, if
desired, they can be printed and taken to the job site. In either case, your workers will always get
the latest information directly from the VISION Database. Learn more about the
Learning System Framework.
Task qualifications and re-qualifications can be managed directly through the VISION Learning
Station. A worker ready to qualify on a set of tasks can prepare by viewing relevant procedures,
training and task checklists. VISION Learning Station locates a qualified proctor, and establishes
the qualification event. Following the qualification event, a certified instructor can validate the
results online to immediately update the worker’s records.
|
|
Student records management at all levels is always available through the VISION
Learning Station. Each learner can view a history of his or her own learning, exam and task
qualifications; and can produce personal progress reports.
|
Supervisors, line managers, and training managers can view records for any
portion of the organization permitted by their VISION security profiles, and can produce insightful
reports on the current status of their organizations or work teams.
