Graphic Design projects can vary depending on the item being developed but this outline will give you a general idea of how the project advances.
“Working with Malane was a great experience. We called her in on a task that was already months behind and she helped us, through her technical skill and sheer determination, catch-up and deliver on time and within budget. Her years of experience in managing large projects was critical to the completion of the project because she knew the pressure that we were under. Based on that she jumped right in and got to work. Her responsiveness and willingness to accept and incorporate comments was really refreshing. Despite the extreme time crunch she was faced with, she made sure we, and our client, were 100% satisfied. We couldn’t have completed the project without her!”

“Malane Newman is a highly qualified graphic designer, which is in itself a respectable vocation. But there's much more to her scope of business style and expertise than simply being a "designer."

Malane has assisted me with several projects. She has broadened my thinking in the area of research, layout, artwork and professional presentation. The brochure that she made for me was absolutely top-notch. Everyone who sees it has "wow!" written all over their face."

Step 1:
You contact Malane Newman Design to discuss your requirements either by phoning (760) 789-4583, by sending an email, or you can fill out and submit our Request For Services form.

Step 2:
Based on our discussion and any brief you supply, we will provide you with a written estimate of how long your project will take to complete. Our studio time is billed at a rate of $65 per hour, and this is the benchmark by which we calculate an estimate of cost.

Step 3:
After initial consultation, the award of the project, and the 50% advance payment is received, a business agreement will be created from our conversation that we both agree upon. When an email is received by us from you stating that you agree to the business agreement or a signed copy of the agreement is received by us, an appointment will be set to show mock-up(s) or comp(s) (design ideas).

Step 4:
You will be given a Username and Password so that you may view the mockup(s) within the Client Viewing Area at MalaneNewman.com. You will review the mock-up(s) and choose one, or choose what you like from each one (to be compiled into another mock-up), or request more mock-ups.

Step 5:
We will work on new mock-ups or on the one you picked until you are satisfied that it accomplishes the goals of the agreement. Revisions and corrections will be either sent via email or be viewed online in the Client Viewing Area at MalaneNewman.com.

Step 6:
Once you are 100% satisfied and have signed off on the graphic design piece, the final files will be developed at 300 ppi (Pixels Per Inch) which is the standard offset printing scale.

Step 7:
Prior to delivery of the final art, the remaining 50% payment is paid. The final art files will be delivered in a TIFF format. If you request it, we will also provide the final art in PDF and/or JPG formats. Delivery of the final art will either be placed on CD and mailed to you, or we can upload your final files to your Client Viewing Area for downloading onto your computer, or upload the files to a commercial printer of your choice (if they have this capability).

Malane Newman likes to work very closely with her clients. She does this because she feels that their input through the design process is very important in achieving the main objective of 100% Client Satisfaction.
